Lyon City Card Prices & Tiers

The card sells in four lengths. The tourist office’s shop prices, checked August 2026: €29.90 for 24 hours, €41.90 for 48, €52.90 for 72, €63.90 for 96 (list prices run €32 to €68; the shop discounts them). The marketplace listing here starts at $37 with free cancellation. Same card either way.

Which length fits

24 hours suits a day trip: the funicular up to Fourvière, one flagship museum, the old-town tour if slots align. The math clears even in a day.

48 hours is the tier most visitors should hold. Two museum mornings, unlimited wandering between, a classic Lyon weekend.

72 hours earns its step when Croix-Rousse and the Confluences both make the plan. 96 is for Lyon as a base, and by then the per-day cost is the lowest on the ladder.

The clock

Every tier runs in continuous hours from first validation, not calendar days. Activate on a morning. A 48-hour card validated Saturday at 9 am covers sights into Monday morning, which matters because Monday is when several museums, the Confluences included, take their weekly rest. Where to buy

Two doors, same card: here (the office’s own listing, free cancellation, one basket with your other bookings) or the office direct at visiterlyon.com and its centre desks. Nobody legitimate sells it cheaper. The real saving lever is fitting the tier to the trip, which is this page’s whole job.
